Aethiothemis bequaerti is a species of dragonfly in family Libellulidae. It is found in Angola, Malawi, Nigeria, Zambia, and possibly Mozambique. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marches.
