[edit] Disambiguation
I think that Aes Dana and Aes Dana should be placed on a disambiguation page. --Arash Keshmirian 05:45, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

- I agree, how should this be done? Aes Dana (Metal) and Aes Dana (Ambient)? Protiek 20:18, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- Done today (to do this, I first had to move the page to another name, a "Aes Dana (disambiguation)" page was created automatically, and Aes Dana directly linked to the band, then I remove the comment on the trance group, and created a stub page about them - Hervegirod 15:58, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fixed Redirecting Issues
I was not happy with the way that Aes Dana directly linked here when there was a disambiguation page for "Aes Dana". I saw no reason for this other than to imply that Aes Dana (band) as a subject is more important than Aes Dana the ambient trance artist, or any of the other articles of the same name. Regardless, I've removed the redirection, and changed it so that "Aes Dana" redirects to the disambiguation page, and not this page. This means that users can have a choice which page they arrive on first, rather than being forced to visit this article, regardless of whether they want to or not. Please in future remember that when you are creating a disambiguation page for a number of articles that share the same name, you must make sure that it redirects to the disambiguation page - no article deserves more attention than any other. --Badharlick 17:07, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
At first, the two group were on the same page, I just separated them, but I didn't know how to create a specific "disambiguation" page yet. Plus, there was a lot more on Aes Dana (metal group) than Aes Dana (ambiant trance artist) in this page at the moment. Hervegirod 21:55, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What does this article need to be promoted from stub-class ?
User:Kingboyk reverted this article to stub-class. I thought there was enough improvements in it to "promote it", apparently it was not the case. What does he still need for promotion ? Hervegirod 10:57, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I reverted because you removed the WPBio tag wholesale. I didn't assess the article, just restored the tag. Still looks like a stub to me though - there's only 4 sentences of prose. --kingboyk 11:49, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- and now ? Hervegirod 12:13, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think there is enough information in this article to classify it as Start-class now. Hervegirod 12:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Lachassesauvage.jpg
Image:Lachassesauvage.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Scottish Gaelic / Old Irish
I’ve changed the opening a bit since it implied that the band were named for the Scottish Gaelic expression Aois-dàna. This may be true (and please revert if you know it is), but it seems that this crept in because the only explanation available on Wikipedia of the Old Irish term Áes Dána was through it’s use in Scotland. The note still links to the Aois-dàna article, but the reference summary is to the Old Irish term. ☸ Moilleadóir (talk) 15:17, 2 February 2008 (UTC) ☏
