The AM-3C and AM-3CM are variants of the AM-3. This article is therefore most correctly named Aermacchi AM-3. Not all the aircraft described here are AM-3Cs, but they are all AM-3s. --Rlandmann 23:17, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

It was my mistake in the first place, but the correct designation is AM.3 (therefore AM.3C and AM.3CM) as opposed to AM-3. This is the same as Aermacchi's naming protocol for its other aircraft (eg MB.326). Impi 11:01, 18 Aug 2004 (UTC)
