Aeromed

Aeromed is a Puerto Rican air ambulance airline company. Its equipment consists mostly of helicopters.
Based at Isla Grande Airport in San Juan, the airline concentrates its operations on flying critically injured or sick passengers to Centro Medico and other area hospitals. Aeromed also transports passengers in critical condition who are in the rest of Puerto Rico. Apart from flying patients, Aeromed helicopters have also been used in other rescue missions, such as emergency evacuations, etc.

AeroMed is also a rotor wing ambulance that operated out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. AeroMed flies with a Sikorsky B model, N176BA, and will soon be operating with a C++ Model. The operating range is mainly in western to northwestern Michigan, but occasionally to hospitals in Detroit and Chicago. AeroMed is owned by Spectrum Health System of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
