Talk:Aegyptus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article says: "In Greek mythology, Aegyptus, or Aigýptos ("supine goat") was the king of Egypt (which took its name from him)"
But the article List of country name etymologies says: "Egypt: "temple of the soul of Ptah"
Encyclopaedias should not give flatly contradictory statements about matters of fact. Does anyone care to arbitrate this question? Adam 01:43, 16 Feb 2004 (UTC)

http://www.creationontheweb.com/content/view/4857/ Egypt is called Mestraim by the Hebrews; and Mestraim lived not long after the flood.
