That's irrelevant to whether this should be an article or not. This article is out of date and pertaining to a programme of little popular or even cult following. There is scant evidence that it is even still broadcast. I'd dare say that the majority of it's audience are in some way affiliated with the programme or it's cast/crew.
In my mind it is not of any interest to retain this article.

I've seen Stephen Brown on our local TV channel. Who ever produces this has so much enthusiasm but se little resources it could never be considered a 'professional' or money making group. I say they need help & support not deletion.

Beacon is a lowly resourced production group that thrives on volunteers and enthusiasm, and has done since it began in 1987. In April 2004 the club received a grant for its work from the lottery scheme Awards for All of £5,000 which has refurbished all of the clubs equipment and props. The club also now has its own purpose fitted studio. It continues to unite local people and train students up in a variety of media related jobs.

I believe that enough reliable, verifiable information can be gathered from the Beacon Productions website and the credits on the programme itself to provide details on the cast, the production team and the show's characters, bumping this stub up to a full Wikipedia article. I would like to make an attempt at this, and will try to conform to the Wikipedia guidelines as far as I am able. However, it may need someone to check my work, to confirm the accuracy of the information and to make it look neat and in line with the style guide. Is anyone up for this? I would also like to know whether a picture or two from the show reproduced here would conform with copyright laws (possibly the show's logo and a shot or two of the cast?). I may need help with image hosting, if this is acceptable. Abdullah Azzam

I am currently in touch with Stephen Launay at Beacon Productions. Stephen has been very helpful in offering to supply information on the series and has also given me a selection of very good photographs, some of which I would like to use in this article. Stephen Launay is the creator of Stephen Brown and oversees every aspect of the programme, so permission has effectively been granted. I have also glanced over the rules for image hosting and will try to use the best options and the tags which seem most appropriate. However, I have found the rules extremely complicated to follow so please try not to be too hard on me, I am only writing up a series that I have watched and enjoy! Abdullah Azzam
