[edit] Individual game articles

I don't believe it's appropriate for Wikipedia to have articles on the individual games available on Adventure Games Live. In fact, the links to individual games were removed from this page earlier, but were reinstated by User:168.122.223.162 and the articles created by the same person.

I was going to AfD all the pages, but User:Branddobbe pointed out that merging the articles may be a better idea. I personally believe that there's nothing in the articles that's worthy of merging, since all the information is available verbatim on the main AGL site. However, I'm opening up the discussion in case there are differing views.

I'll leave this discussion open for a week, to allow people to comment. --Ciaran H 20:27, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

(from my user talk page, left by User:168.122.223.162):
I agree, the games don't list much new information as yet. But I thought the games are worthy of maybe additional description, critiquing the games, as possibly provided by other viewers.
Apologies for not replying earlier. The thing is, I don't see that they're noteworthy enough to be in Wikipedia - especially something like The Trainer, which is purely an example game and has no place in an encyclopedia. I would also argue that anything on these pages would be best discussing on the original Adventure Games Live page; there's no need for separate articles, as I see it.
By the way, I should mention that I visit RinkWorks very regularly and often appear in RinkChat, so if you'd like to talk about it, please pop in - I'm "Ciaran" there. Of course, if you don't want to, that's fine; I'm happy to discuss it here too. --Ciaran H 19:05, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
On second thought, I figure you're right, these articles should be merged onto the Adventure Games Live Page.
