"Advice for the Young at Heart" is a song by the British band Tears for Fears, taken from their 1989 album The Seeds of Love. The single was a Top 40 hit in the UK (#36) and France (#31), and a Top 20 hit in Ireland (#15) and the Netherlands (#14).

The song was written by Roland Orzabal and keyboardist/singer Nicky Holland. The lead vocal was sung by Curt Smith.

The video for the song was filmed in Florida. It features a Latin-American wedding interspersed with shots of the band performing. It was the last Tears for Fears video to feature both Orzabal and Smith before their acrimonious split in the early 1990s. It would be 15 years before they next made a video together ("Closest Thing to Heaven" in 2005).

The song "Change", was sampled in 2007 by David Guetta for his song "Always", from the album Pop Life.
