It's the summer of 1987 and James Brennan, a recent college graduate is looking for a job. He finds the local amusement park and learns it's the perfect course to prepare him for the real world.

The film has begun production and is currently filming in Kennywood Park in Pittsburgh, PA. They are no longer looking for Pittsburgh area extras to dress as 80s park-goers. The wrap-up party was on November 11, 2007. It was held at the Bossa Nova restaurant in Downtown Pittsburgh where film participants ordered 140 quesadillas.
