Adult Entertainment Working Group
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Adult Entertainment Working Group (AEWG) is the Scottish governmental advisory body set up within the Scottish Executive to investigate the legislative issues involved in the current proposed lapdancing ban in Scotland. The working group has been in place from March 2005 to April 2006, is headed by Linda Costelloe Baker and was set up by Tom McCabe MSP.
[edit] Political Opposition
The main[citation needed] voice of opposition to the lapdancing ban has come from the exotic dancer Veronica Deneuve who has set out to try and involve the stripping community in the discussion to inform such legislation.
