"A Drug Divine Project" is reserch on the effects of coffee on the social scene and effects of the social scene on coffee in the 21st century.
The continuous search of the god shot and why do people desire the coffee hit? The shot of espresso 25mls +5/-5 extracted in around 25 seconds . Attacks the tongue and olefactory giving its owner either a exciting sensual trip of flavours and taste sensations or that immediate repulsive spit and a contourted "why did i bother" face. Why do people line up for their hit of caffiene. The desire to meet their body's call for another hit of coffee,it is a strong driver. The coffee house/ cafe has taken on the role of the pub in Australia's cities, as the gathering places. This started to evolve in 1990s. The RBT laws that were empowered earlier in NSW had started to take effect. The hotels relised that to survive they needed to review their income streams. So a push to have gambling areas as part of the operation started. By 1997 the public started to look for alternative places to meet socially and for business.
