I have removed the prod tag from this article, because Google Scholar, Books, News and Web searches show that this is a frequently discussed syndrome. I don't have the expertise to comment on whether this is a recognised medical condition by mainstream scientists, but the subject is obviously a notable phenomenon - if it is pseudoscience then it should be edited to make that clear.
