Adrian Truss is an actor whose more recent work is as a voice actor for animated children's features. Since moving from England to Canada in 1957, he has starred in many movies, plays, and television shows. He has voiced Sir Funnybone in a Care Bears movie, the father in Rolie Polie Olie and performed the role of 'Dragon' in the television series Jane and the Dragon.
Adrian Truss also voices Poe, a character in the series Ruby Gloom.
Adrian Truss also does the voice of Dr Kirk in Dino Crisis

One of Canada's leading comedians, actor/writer/director Adrian Truss has many years of experience having performed on Second City stages in Edmonton, London and Toronto, Adrian has also appeared in episodes of SCTV and has contributed his directing talents to several Second City shows.
Leaving Second City in 1986, he combined forces with Bruce Hunter
and David Huband to form the infamous improv troupe Illustrated Men. Touring across North America and to places as far away as Monte Carlo and Alaska, Illustrated Men received rave reviews from both critics and audiences alike for their outstanding improvisational shows. The troupe also staged a highly acclaimed and successful
production of Waiting For Godot at the Canadian Stage Theatre. Classically trained at Ryerson Theatre School, Adrian has also
written and directed several plays for the stage, including Dragonhead, Retribution and Tale of the Scorpion which were well received in both Toronto and Los Angeles. He has also written episodic TV (Puppets Who Kill)
and for the last two years has written the highly successful Toronto ACTRA Awards.
He also directed the challenging Lear by Edward Bond for the Equity Showcase Theatre and more recently, Blithe Spirit for Globus Theatre.
A leading voice talent in the animation industry, Adrian has
created and performed original roles in many highly popular series including Bob and Margaret, Mischief City, Atomic Betty
and the Emmy Award-winning Rolie Polie Olie. He has been the voice announce for Sprint and Eaton's and voices many other
radio and television projects. Currently he is the voice of Dragon in Jane & the Dragon, a co-production between Nelvana and Peter Jackson’s WETA organization.
