Adrian Poynton

Adrian Poynton is a British writer, comedian and actor.

He has performed Stand Up since 1999 when he was a finalist in The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award. He is more often than not used as a compère due to his open and friendly stage manner. He is also a popular TV Studio Warm up.

Poynton is also a writer having won a Fringe First Award in 2003 for his Play A Very Naughty Boy about the life of Monty Python's Graham Chapman. He has also written for Television including several projects for The Disney Channel and Cbeebies. He is currently developing several projects including two sitcoms and a film.

He is still regularly seen in the comedy clubs of the UK.
