Adrian Arnold-Smith, FRSC, is a British research chemist active in the field of alumina chemicals technology.

Brought up in Freshford, Somerset, England, he was educated at Ravenscroft School, Wells Cathedral School, studied colloid chemistry at the University of Bristol where he received MSc and PhD degrees and at the University of Strathclyde where he received an MBA.

In addition to his industrial career, he currently serves as chairman of the Royal Society of Chemistry's Chilterns and Middlesex Local Section. He also serves on the Society's Membership Affairs Board and is a member of the Court (governing body) of Imperial College London.
