Adrian Anca

Adrian Anca (born 27 March 1976 in Diosig, Bihor county) is a Romanian footballer, who plays as a striker. Anca began playing football professionally for IS Campia Turzii in the Romanian second league. He later made his debut in the Romanian first league with Gloria Bistrita. During the summer of 2003, Anca was traded to CFR Cluj, where he quickly became the team's top goalscorer, as well as the fan-favorite. During the summer of 2005, Anca was about to be traded to Russian team Zenit Saint Petersburg, but the deal was never finalized.
