Organization necessary for navigational purposes, later if not now
I think this page would be easier to navigate if it was alphabetized. I will do this unless anyone objects. Dar-Ape 23:31, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Standardization
I propose that the left column be standardized to the concise yet useful format Example User (t c). Dar-Ape 01:03, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Sockpuppetry
What can be done about a verified sockpuppet who has been blocked, but still has adopter information? I am specifically referring to User:Kashwialariski, who I stumbled upon when looking at the others who are ready to adopt. This is kind of a procedural question also.... Just wondering! - NDCompuGeek 23:49, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
List split
I split the list into five sections. Hope it helps with the editing. --Deryck C. 11:27, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it looks good. Could you also add the column headings to the various new sections?--killing sparrows (chirp!) 17:38, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- PS Somebody mentioned above that Kashwialariski was indef blocked as a sockpuppet, this is also stated on the accounts user page. If nobody objects I will remove him/her from the list tomorrow.--killing sparrows (chirp!) 17:38, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Removal
I just removed a retired adopter from the list. --Deryck C. 07:01, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Sunshine Man
I'm requesting The Sunshine Man (talk · contribs) out of the list since he left wikipedia earlier this month. Hirohisat Talk 02:07, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
List cleanup -- anyone see a problem with removing dormant editors?
There are an awful lot of editors on this list who haven't edited in months. Anyone have any objections to me culling the herd a bit? I'd probably do that in conjunction w/ removing the userbox from their user page. I'll leave this up here a couple days before I start digging in. Into The Fray T/C 23:07, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Help wanted, please...
Hi to every goodwilling adopter!
I posted the {{adoptme|20071204131554}} box (December 4, 2007), as I do need help with many technical points, this producing no result so far.
I left Wikipedia about three years ago [1], but I went back recently (October 15, 2007), and it's like I'm totally new to this project. I try hard to understand, but I simply cannot see how many things work. Furthermore, I fear that I may unvoluntarily become a vandal, what I sure do not want to be.
These guidance and recommendations could help me to do more and better than I already did, and advices to avoid situations that could make me willing to quit again [2]. I do not know how long it usually take to be adopted —wish it were not too long.
Many thanks forward to any patient adopter who would be able to make things intelligible to me with daily words (I do not even understand most of the codes, procedures etc.). — Kanġi Oĥanko (talk) 13:03, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- ^ Essentially for personal reasons and because I had to come to the conclusion that anyone could spoil good articles, even with the best intentions and despite guidelines. And I can't help seeing things are obviously not getting better on this point. Despite this, I would like to be a constructive, very small cell of the 9th most accessed website…
- ^ Though the '04 Wiki and the present encyclopedia are really different, a lot of talk pages, disputes, incident noticeboards etc., plus what some of my friends experienced in the past two years make me somewhat nervous, instead of being eager to get started on this potentially marvelous tool.
