At the very least any merge should use the name "Adolphe Willette" as this is the prefered display name on recored at the Getty's ULAN - Union List of Artist Names- http://www.getty.edu/vow/ULANFullDisplay?find=Willette&role=&nation=&prev_page=1&subjectid=500015711

Likewise, the Library of Congress' name authority file is recorded w/ a preffered display name as Willette, Adolphe. LC LOC Control Number: nr 94005433 http://authorities.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?AuthRecID=4051205&v2=1&HC=1&SEQ=20051015204829&PID=15233

It's crayz talk to suggest the alternative: Willette, Léon-Adolphe sheer and utter crazy talk.

[edit] merge

Well, I just merged these two pages. They are, after all, the same person. But there has been some nice effort to write both articles and I'm reluctant to just wade in and mash the two together. I hope someone with some knowledge keeps an eye on this page and wants to work on it. --Bookandcoffee 19:12, 16 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Dissonance

The article doesn't seem to have any continuity between his artistic life and his political life. Are we even sure the "anti-semite" candidate is the same person?--Pharos 23:10, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
