Talk:Adobe GoLive

[edit] Doubt on "In place of GoLive, Adobe will bundle Macromedia Dreamweaver"...
Adobe didn't announce what it would give up GoLive. With a different workflow, GoLive excels Dreamweaver in a lot of ways, most significantly its integration with other Creative Suite applications.
There is still speculations on whether GoLive or Dreamweaver will be given up. They may largely coexist and serve different purpose in the foreseeable future.
I agree. I have been using both software since 1999 and since 2001 been using GoLive only, notwithstanding the new feartures offered by Dreamwevaer MX. GoLive has more features that enhances the look and feel of the webpage. In addition, the CSS feature of GoLive is very impressive.
- Actually, Adobe did replace GoLive with Dreamweaver CS3 (now considered an Adobe product, after merging with Macromedia.) This was do to the fact that web designers have long adopted Dreamweaver as the industry standard, and GoLive had never achieved much penetration in the market.
[edit] Version history
If someone could add a version history (release dates), I'd be most grateful. 217.85.169.131 07:51, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
