I've recently developed an interest in copy-editing and I heard Wikipedia is a good place to hone copy-editing skills as it is in constant need of spelling, grammar, style and usage correction.

As I dislike the mentality to jump into a community without understanding it first, I am trying to pour my way through the Wikipedia:List_of_guidelines and Wikipedia:List_of_policies.

I've also reviewed Wikipedia:How_to_copy-edit and the Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style is on my list to be read.

It will probably be a while before I jump in and contribute in this manner. I am not interested in breaking any guidelines or policies and I am very responsive to informative correction when making mistakes. I hate making the same mistake twice. So if I do something questionable, please let me know and if you're kind enough, please point out the details of my mistake and I will do my best to insure it doesn't happen again.
