Wikipedia talk:Administrators' noticeboard/OldHeader
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I added the following section to the top of the page.
- Policy Enforcement
- Serious, urgent matters of policy enforcment may be documented at Wikipedia:policy enforcement log - a proposed policy page which several Administrators are experimenting with.
I hope this is okay. Uncle Ed 14:34, July 14, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] WP:SSP
{{editprotected}}
I think links to WP:SSP should be put both in the box at the top, and in the Are you sure that this is the page you are looking for? section. Od Mishehu 07:46, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Done. I've added a link in the box at the top. I haven't added a link in the 'Are you sure' section, because it would be more specific than the other items there; you can add it yourself to WP:RFAA if you like (probably the appropriate page linked from that list to add it to). --ais523 08:06, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User talk:Whoever/User talk:Whomever
I've changed "whomever" to "whoever." The whole phrase, "User talk:X" is of course in the accusative. But the "Whoever" is taking the place of the person's name as it appears in the pagename, and thus should properly be nominative. It is, essentially, as if it were a quotation (User talk:"whoever") of the name of the person's talk page. Of course, if it were "the user talk page of whomever" it would properly be accusative, but it's not, nor is that really what the colon is signifying. Chick Bowen 03:29, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Promote Category:Administrative backlog?
Currently, this header is geared only towards non-admins. Wouldn't it be good to also address admins by reminding them to check Category:Administrative backlog? — Sebastian 19:47, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge the two boxes with the list and the DR section
Currently, this page has four different areas that serve the same purpose: Tell the reader "If you want X then you need to go to Y". In between, there's a paragraph wedged in edgewise that defines the page itself. Wouldn't it be much better if the "disambiguation" links were merged and organized? It feels to me this sort of "issue solving directory" is so generally needed here that we should better write it as a template that then could be used in other similar pages. — Sebastian 19:47, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
