[edit] Requested move

Admiral of the Fleet (Russia) would make a better translation, see Admiral of the Fleet (USSR). DmitryKo 10:29, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

  • Support: If thats what the translation is, by all means it should be moved. -Husnock 15:25, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

I think the current translation is better. Even though it transposes the words, it sounds less awkward and the meaning is exactly the same. But I don't feel strongly enough to support or oppose the move. Michael Z. 2005-08-4 15:12 Z

Wouldn't it be a little inconsistent if Адмирал флота was translated as Fleet Admiral but Генерал армии would be General of the Army?!! (and I think Army General sounds

way more awkward...) --DmitryKo 15:19, 4 August 2005 (UTC)

This article has been renamed after the result of a move request. violet/riga (t) 10:43, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
