This category lists backlogs which require the attention of administrators. A backlog is a list of things that need to be done and that have not been done for some time. Backlogs which do not require the attention of administrators may be found at Category:Wikipedia backlog. To encourage friendly competition among administrators, there is a proposal for a contest in clearing backlogs. Please see Wikipedia:Admin backlog contest for more information.
