The Admiral Petre Bărbuneanu class frigate is a patrol frigate (corvette by NATO standards) in service with the Romanian Naval Forces.

Boats in this class are quite old and obsolete; they are to be replaced by boats in the Eustaţiu Sebastian class.

Available information indicates that only two frigates in this class are still in service, out of a total of four.
