Just Me

Hello, my name is Adina. I've spent most of my life working in communications. First for various telephone companies, later in film and television, and now I'm retraing to get into computer networking.

I love to travel (rather proud of my somewhat boastful charts below ), seeing new places and meeting new people, trains, aviation, public transportation (especially the Underground), and related to that - I'm a bit of a petrolhead (the 1st definition ). Bit of a geekette too, I'm afraid. I'm interested in computers, film and tv, idents, radio, photography, the E.U, retail history, social trends, new towns and planned communities. Also starting to get somewhat addicted to Wikipedia as well!

Currently, you'll find me mostly editing pages related to London and the Underground, also towns in Australia (especially SA). Since Wikipedia has the advantage of being able to incorporate media, unlike printed encyclopedias, I'm a big proponent of adding pictures and possibly media items (video or audio clips) to pages. Tastefully done and * in moderation *, it can only enhance the work.
