"A Day in the Life" as a waveform in Audacity. Compression artifacts removed and image converted to PNG by Mysid. Original JPEG was uploaded on November 14, 2005 by Deltabeignet, who wrote the following rationale for fair use:
- Rationale: (partially nicked from Image:Layla audacity.PNG) This is a derivative work of the copyrighted song "A Day In The Life". The image is used purely for academic purposes, to visually highlight features of the song (crescendoes, rapid transitions) that would be difficult, if not impossible, to describe with text. The image does not infringe on a substantial part of the song's copyright and will not have a negative effect on revenue from the song.
