Adi Braun

Adi Braun is a Canadian jazz and cabaret vocalist and composer. She studied opera, but rarely performs that grenre anymore. She was born Adreana Braun in Toronto circa 1963 and spent most of her childhood in Germany. Her parents were opera singers Victor Braun (1935-2001) and Eraine Braun. She began studying piano at the age of six. She moved into the genre of popular song and jazz at age 19. She has a degree in vocal music from University of Toronto. She began singing opera professionally with her brother Russell Braun. She has been singing professionally since 2001 and made her first recordings in 2004.
