ADI: Alternatív Diák Időtöltő Klub
Alternative Student Pastime Club (Hungary)
The club was founded by Hegedűs László, alias Hege in 2002, aiming to provide social, recreational, and cultural activities to Körmend youth. The club has created such programs and organized such events which were uncommon before in Körmend so it's become the most remarkable youth club in the town's history.
Hege, on behalf of the club, invited many Hungarian music artists, groups and also created trips, game-shows, historical- (Szabaczky Edit, NYME-ATFK) and literal (Pilnai Zoltán gastronomist, chef) performances, screening rooms (Szőke András, actor and director) according to the needs of the Körmend youth. The honorary members of the club are the rapper Sub Bass Monster, the anchorman Olivér of the Hungarian VIVA TV, V-Tech, the Roy & Ádám and last but not the least Szőke András, actor and director.
The club's programs, like the “24 hour game show” (24 órás vetélkedõ), the “Sleep another time” (Aludj máskor!), the County Youth Camp and Meeting (Megyei Ifjúsági Tábor és Találkozó) have achieved huge successes.
The club considers important to inspire the members of ADI to take part of further learning and to make honest people, who are interested in any kind of culture and knowledge.
