[edit] Notability of Nick Gisburne

A tag has been placed on Nick Gisburne, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Deranged bulbasaur 10:23, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Game

I found some more deletion reviews which you may like to add to your page. I am not sure why these DRVs were only given a lifespan of a few hours when the discovery of additional supporting evidence seems a perfectly legitimate reason for a DRV on an article that was deleted over the (heavily debated and contested) inadequacy of that which previously existed.

Hi. I've moved your most recent prototype article to my userspace and made a few minor edits. I have also compiled a list of sources and evidence of notability. I think it's ready to go to DRV now. Do you think both the prototype article and the list of evidence should be posted at the top of the DRV, or should they be linked to? Do whatever you think is best, I think it's ready now, so you can put it up for DRV if you agree. Thanks, LoserNo1 (talk) 16:33, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I've been getting some suggestions from admin and we're currently working on this version here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:LoserNo1/The_Game_%28game%29 They have suggested using this to apply for page unprotection first so I may try that soon. LoserNo1 (talk) 01:47, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, thanks for all your help. I did wait for you for a while but I thought what we had was suitable so I put it up. And yes it certainly does infuriate some people, even me sometimes... Lost. LoserNo1 (talk) 18:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
