I'm trying to work out the rank structure of the arbites, going on what the books say. So far I've got (working downwards) Arbitor Majore, Arbitor Senioris, Lead Arbitor/Proctor. [[1]] has mention of a system that seems to be taken from the book, but misses out the lead arbitor rank mentioned at one point, and I think character have multiple titles as well. Any thoughts? I think it goes Arbitor Primus, Secondus, Tertius (or something like that) for the highest command ranks, where Arbitrator and Judge branches meet. Then it's Grand Marshal, Marshal, Provost, Detective, Proctor, Arbitrator. The Judges have a seperate rank system, which starts at Clerk, I think I've read. Below them all are the Vigile, which are Arbites-watched local agencies that enforce local law. Dasleah 23:59, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Don't forget that they are also a group of Necromunda Gangers called Enforcerers and have rankings under that listing. I'll try adding that information when I have a chance.SanchiTachi 04:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Aren't the Enforcers under the current Necroomunda rules different to the Arbites? I thought they were an internal security force for the Hive, not part of the Imperial "police force" - or did they change it again? Darkson - BANG! 08:52, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
Well, the "enforcers" were originally called Arbites and the models are 99% the same. They use the shotguns, have the same helmets, etc. I think the difference is based on the Inquisitor explanation of the Arbites (where it mentions the possibility of Inquisition having to go against the Inquisitors using Enforcers of their own). Regardless, there are only two names mentioned there, but it would clear up what the "basic" ranks would be.SanchiTachi 15:51, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Given how much of this article is based on Farrar's books, shouldn't Shira Calpurnia be in the Characters section? I would write it but I only checked the books out, so I don't currently have them for reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 35.11.245.144 (talk) 21:35, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
