"making it one of the safest places to ride in Adelaide." I would not agree with this assertion as there are several blind corners when climbing southwards and the oncoming downhill riders get up plenty of speed! I have not yet collided with one but we are talking about inches sometimes and it doesn't "feel" as safe as this claim makes it out to be. Mykro 04:39, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

So fix it... but there are no cars to contend with and this sounds like bad riding by the downhillers more than any other problem. Ill take a blind corner or two over cars rushing past all the time any day. Crashing into other bikes is a lot less dangerous than crashing into cars ... :: maelgwn - talk 04:48, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm hard pressed to think of anywhere safer, the Veloway has no cars, trucks, trains, pedestrians, dogs or horses and I'm happy to take my chances with my fellow cyclists.Tophonic 10:17, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Having thought about it some more I realise its the vagueness of the term "safest places" that is niggling me. I would consider "making it one of the safest transit corridors in Adelaide." as a better description, if there are no objections. Mykro 02:39, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Sounds fine to me Tophonic 09:07, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
