Adelleda is a melodic hardcore rock band originally from Auckland, New Zealand, but reside in Dallas, Texas, USA. The band was formed by members from the broken up bands Blindspott and Jeopardy Theory, and American lead singer Nuno Pereira. In February 2008 Pereira and guitarist Brendon Reihana left the band during the recording for their newest album A Reasonable Explanation For Life. They were replaced by Kyle Setter (formerly Destroy the Runner) and Matt Sherwood, and the album was cancelled. Adelleda have so far released two EPs an album called The Footsteps Die Out Forever. Drummer Michael Maguire also started a side-project band called In Rehab.
