Adele Anthony

Adele Anthony (born circa 1973) is an Australian-American violinist. She attended Dernancourt Primary School, South Australia. She studied violin at the University of Adelaide and the Juilliard School.

At 13, Anthony was the youngest winner of the ABC Instrumental and Vocal Competition, performing the Sibelius Violin Concerto with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. Her recordings include the Philip Glass Violin Concerto on Naxos Records and Arvo Pärt's Tabula Rasa with Gil Shaham, Neeme Jarvi and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra on Deutsche Grammophon.

She is married to violinist Gil Shaham.
