Adela of France, Countess of Nevers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Adele of France (c. 1003-1063), was the daughter of Hugh Capet, King of France and Adelaide of Aquitaine. She was supposedly married to Renauld I, Count of Nevers 1000-1040 but there is no evidence to support this. Count Renauld actually married to Hedwig/Advisa of Auxerre, daughter of Robert II of France and Constance of Arles on Jan 25, 1016 and had issues who would inherit both Nevers and Auxerre.
