Addison Groove Project

Addison Groove Project is a funk/jazz jam band based in Boston, MA. The band waited until all the members had completed their college studies before they recently began their full year touring.
The six member band is formed by :
- Dave Adams - alto sax, vocals
- Ben Groppe - tenor sax
- John Hall - bass
- Andrew Keith - drums
- Rob Marscher - keyboards, vocals
- Brendan McGinn - vocals, guitar, trumpet
The band recently suffered the loss of bass player John Hall. He died of cancer on Thanksgiving night 2004 after 18 months of illness in which he played gigs on and off. The bass part is now played by Rob Marscher on his keyboards. On September 1, 2005 Brendan McGinn announced that he is entering medical school at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. It also announced that a new band Skinjer comprised of Dave, Ben, Andrew, and Rob of AGP which will perform when Brendan is too busy with school.
On March 3, 2007, at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Addison Groove Project performed for the last time in the foreseeable future.
