there is no mention of throws or slams in this article. Specifically slams i.e. are they allowed? are points awarded?(other than takedown points) do slams relsulting in knockout count? do they happen often. I think lifts, throws, and slams are a vital part of a complete ground attack so i am curious if they are included.

to answer this question, slams are not permitted, they are in fact illegal. takedowns get points, as well as positional advances (ex: progress from guard to side control, or progress from side control to mount). Sweeps also award points.

The complete set of ADCC results are available at www.adcombat.com, somebody should set these out in a table of some sort. I don't know how to do this otherwise I would.

Slams are allowed as long as they are not part of a submission attempt, I forgot where this is cited but it is in the rules.

some more information on prize money amounts would be nice. Whenever I watch this they are also raffling off cars, so it should be substantial.
