Adam Hunter (born 26 September 1963) is a Scottish golfer. After completing two a half years of a golf scholarship in U.S. state of Virginia he turned professional in 1984. He played on the European Tour from the mid 1980s to the late 1990s, but often struggled to hold on to his tour card. His one win on the tour came at the 1995 Portuguese Open and that season he finished a career high sixty-third on the European Tour Order of Merit. He also won the 1987 Northern Open, a non-tour event.
He worked as a coach for Open winner Paul Lawrie from 1998 to 2004.
Adam is now a successful golf coach and is considered one of the best in Scotland. He coaches at all levels and currently works with Scottish PGA Champion Mark Loftus.
