Aculina Strasnei Popa[1]

Was born in 1943 In Orhei 

Between (1960 –1963), She studied drawings and paintings under Professor Iulius Podilipny,

                    in Timisoara, Romania. 
 In 1966 She Graduated from The Music and Art high school in Timisoara, Romania. 
 In 1971 She Graduated from University of Drawing in Timisoara, Romania
 In 1981 She Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree at University of 
                   Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" Bucharest
Between (1972 – 2000) She served as Professor of Art in Vocational Education  
                    Arad, Romania.
From 1973, she participated actively in all events at Yearly Synthesis   of the Union of Fine  
                    Artists Branch, Arad, Romania.
Primary exhibitions with Character Republican openings; Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, 
                    Galati, Bacau, Iasi.
      In 1977, she founded the “Literary Circle Youths Artist of Fine Art “from Arad
From 1980 she became a member of the Fine Artists Union (UAP) specialty Graphics 
                   For Romania
From 1995 She’s been a member in the International Society of Fine Artists UNESCO, Paris 
                   France
She presents Her Art at Romanian Exhibitions Internationally
Her Art is Recognized, Nominated and she is Distinguished with awards frequently at 
                    Various exhibitions

Collaborates and works in Restoration of Recognized Paintings in Churches including The:

  - Cathedral Metropolitan Orthodox from Timisoara, Romania
  - Orthodox Church Balomir - Hateg, Romania 
  - Orthodox Church Gradiste from Arad, Romania
  - Monastery Saraca in Romania
She Completes numerous Creative Illustrations and unique pictures for Books being Published
Her Artwork is Represented in the State collections in: Romania, France, Poland, Greece
Her Artwork is Represented in Private Collections in: Romania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada,
 Switzerland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Yugoslavia, Holland, USA, Turkey, Hungary 
                       and many other Countries
