This image is actually inaccurate. Whoever drew it does not know how to produce the archtypical "enzyme-catalyzing-a-reaction" activation energy chart. Notice this image implies that an enzyme makes a reaction occur in less time. This is false. In the presence of an enzyme, the chemical reaction occurs in the same amount of time, but it simply requires less activation energy.
