[edit] History
ActiveFocus originally was a desktop application created by Xapware Technologies Inc and was acquired by Falafel Software in 2005. While the software enjoyed success as a desktop application, president and CEO of Falafel Software, Lino Tadros, felt the application could be taken to a much higher level and be implemented in the form of a web application.
Utilizing the latest .NET technologies, use of Telerik RadControls, and a brand new UI (similar to Microsoft Outlook), Falafel Software relaunched ActiveFocus in March of 2008.
[edit] Software
In March, 2008, Falafel Software released ActiveFocus 2008, a web based project management software. Unlike many competitors, Falafel Software boasts that ActiveFocus is not specifically for the software industry, but is instead customizable for almost any market vertical.
