According to the Kew checklist, A. media is considered a valid species by Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong, although not by Govaerts. It's inconsistent with NPOV to ignore Acevedo and Strong (especially when Govaerts appears to be the one who compiled the Kew list and acknowledged the fact that Acevedo & Strong disagree with him.
