I would not consider Bartolomé Bermejo, the painter, as a "Catalan". He was born in Córdoba, which is in Andalusia and not in Catalonia. He certainly worked in Catalonia, but he did it in other places of the Old Crown of Aragon as Daroca, which wasn't either in Catalonia. So I would not call him a "Catalan". This can be seen in the articles "Bartolomé Bermejo" in fr:wikipedia, de:wikipedia and, of course, es:wikipedia.--80.36.68.39 18:33, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice. I expect it was me who put the Catalan in, and I think I would have got it from the Blue Guide (which refers to a Catalan triptych, rather than a Catalan painter). I’ll change it to Spanish. Cheers! —Ian Spackman 20:06, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
