Acquired dyslexia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Acquired dyslexia is a term used for specific patterns of reading deficit resulting from adult brain injury or disease. There are three key types of acquired dyslexia with different patterns of deficits: surface dyslexia, phonological dyslexia, and deep dyslexia. Models of reading in the literature are largely based around satisfying evidence from case studies of such dyslexias. (Harley, 2008)
