This article is a MESS! There are wrong definitions and the outlines of services are incorrect. I have cleaned up what I can for the time being, but the article really needs a major re-write. The basic definition of the term "Acolouthia" is wrong. Acolouth refers to the fixed portions of the services, as opposed to the moveable portions (troparion, kontakion, katabasia, etc.). All of the paragraphs that have to do with hymnology should really be moved to another article--they are not relevant here. The Catholic Encyclopedia is really not the place to get information about the Eastern Rite. MishaPan 04:25, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
