Talk:Acmaeidae

The family Acmaeidae has been extensively revised by malacologists in recent years. Most of the species have been moved to the family Lottiidae. Offhand I do not know the exact details, but all this true limpet taxonomy has really been in flux. Not since the 1960s have all these species been in Acmaea plain and simple as shown here.
