There are three characters named Acmon in Greek mythology:

  • Acmon was one of the Dactyls, associated with the anvil, or perhaps the Corybantes. He was the son of Socus and Combie.
  • Acmon was a Phrygian king who gave his name to the district known as Acmonia; he was the father of Mygdon, his successor.
  • Acmon was a companion of Diomedes in Italy. He was turned into a bird.
