I am a 26-year-old male. I was born on July 27, 1981 in 
Israel to parents of Jewish Ashkenazi and 
Norwegian roots and grew up in the same country. I have lately relocated to 
Waukegan, Illinois, USA.
The prominent advantages in my opinion of Wikipedia, of the other types of written media is first of all in Wikipedia's articles massive exposure of which they get (first place in Google search results queries), and in it's ability to have updated articles, and most importantly, in the colabrative work of wikipedia's editor staff by the creation of worthy articles.
I am a here first of all in order to expand my knowladge on subjects in which I am interested in and secondly because my contributions, even if at times are only stubs or in a preliminary level, have an important rule in in the process of the sharing human knowledge for the use of people worldwide.
Most of the time I focus my energy on expanding the stubs in Wikipedia both on the Hebrew Wikipedia and on the English Wikipedia by translating the bigger articles between the sites. I might not be the most brilliant article writer or the most original one in the world, I might not be the most nimble translator in the world, but I am thirsty for knowledgein many area fields, and I am interested in learning more by overviewing and editing more articles in Wikipedia.
As of now I mainly edit and create articles in which I have personal interest in or which I would like to expand my knowledge in: Israel, Nostalgia (mostly older PC games and older Children's television series), United States, Norway, Family, Parenting, Graphic design, Computer graphics, Arts occupations, Music, Films, Web design, Philosophy, Foods (including their recipes on Wikibooks), United States visas. I am also active on the Hebrew Wikipedia.
