Achmad Yani International Airport (Indonesian: Bandar Udara Internasional Achmad Yani) (IATA: SRG, ICAO: WARS) serves Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. It became an international airport with the first international flight of Garuda Indonesia to Singapore in March 2004.

The Central Java Government planned to expand the airport in 2004. The project started in 2005 and will be finished by 2008. When this project is completed, Achmad Yani International Airport will be better able to accommodate the larger flow of travelers that now use the airport. The airport will have a 2,620 m runway which will capable of handling Boeing 777, Boeing 747, MD-11, Airbus A340 and Airbus A330 planes. The airport will have also have a new terminal located north of the old terminal. It will be 21,500 square meters wide and able to accommodate 2 medium jets and 10 small jets.
