Acharapakkam is a panchayat town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is famous for its ancient Shiva temple which one of the Devaram temples.
It is also known for its Nadi astrology center.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Acharapakkam had a population of 9013. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Acharapakkam has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 56% of the males and 44% of females literate. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
