Talk:Acer palmatum
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a good article and though I like the direction its taken, I was intentionally brief about Japanese maple's superficial resemblence to pot because this article is about the maple and not marijuana. Maybe we should identify a couple very easily recognizable characters and describe those, instead of talking about a large number of characters that people won't remember when they are trying to smoke a maple tree. - I agree... it's a bit silly to have it there at all.SB Johnny 10:41, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Leaf Colour
My Japanese Maple had bright red leafs the first year and this year the leafs are green. Could the tree spikes that I use for fertilizer be causing this? Denis Laporte
The leaves tend to turn red as they mature 70.51.147.62 06:08, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
